Elizabeth has been wanting to work with Seed Art Share and is ecstatic that today is the day that happens! Special thank you to Noelle for giving her the opportunity to get to work with this cast and crew, how lucky can she be. Please note that she is completely innocent of any shady shenanigans that may occur today, she would never dream of being involved with drama of this sort. Resume highlights include Theatre Raleigh’s Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (swing), Brave New Classic’s The Rover (Angelica), Broadway Series South’s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer the Musical (Spotted Elephant), and Diamond Lil at Tweetsie Railroad.
Angela Perry: (EPHEMERA)
Angie is positively thrilled to be a part of the cast of Engaged to Death! She has most recently worked as a cast member of Dinner Detective, RDU. In another life, BC (before children), Angie was a member of Community Players of Salisbury, Maryland and served as a commercial spokesperson for a local furniture company out of Delaware. Angie is an occupational therapist who has had captive audiences (her patients!) for years. She volunteers with Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue and is the proud mom of two awesome teenagers, Elise and Evan, and a pretty darn good husband, Alan.
Doug Simpson: (Playwright)
Doug Simpson is a playwright and author of both the Maxim Ultra and Great Big World series of novels.
Co-Host of The Hodgepodge Podcast, he is currently prepping the second Maxim Ultra novel for release. He resides with his family in North Carolina, but has never forgotten his New Jersey roots.
Susan Hager: (IRIS)
Susan, a retired educator, continues to love playing dress-up in most any setting. She is thrilled to have been part of a number of Seed Art Share productions and has performed in a number of community theatre productions in Fayetteville and Jacksonville, NC. Susan and her husband love creating memories with their family as well as making new friendships in their community.
Suzanne Philips: (ALEXANDRA)
Suzanne Phillips, 29, is thrilled to join her first show with Seed Art Share! By day, Suzanne does Marketing for Cisco. By night, she solves crime in murder mystery dinner theatre with The Dinner Detective for the last 4 years. On summer weekends, you can find her performing as a singing pirate with her band the Motley Tones in Raleigh and in beach towns around the southeast. Past favorite roles include Amber in Hairspray, Merry Murderess ‘Six’ in Chicago, and Grandmother Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof.
Xenon Winslow is a welder, handyman, and theatremaker from Chapel Hill specializing in Shakespeare performance & scholarship. Recent credits include Coming Back for Me (Leo) with the Cary Playwrights' Forum, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck) with Sweet Tea Shakespeare, and Corpus Christi (Thomas) at St. John's MCC.
Michael is grateful for the opportunity to work with Seed Art Share on such a fun project! He started doing sound design for virtual productions in 2020 with Brave New Classics. He has been directing a few years longer, and acting off and on for longer than he's willing to admit publicly
Dominic Pitocco is incredibly excited to be playing Nickey in Engaged to Death! This is his second show with Seed Art Share, previously puppeteering and voicing nine characters in Seed’s Treasure Island. He has also recently played Trinculo in The Tempest and Adrian in Comedy of Errors with Shared Radiance and Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Sweet Tea Shakespeare. He also regularly performs with The Dinner Detective (Raleigh) and Theatre Delta. Dominic is also working as tour manager and standby for Vault Theatre’s TYA production of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. In addition to acting, Dominic loves writing, playing video games, being a dinosaur nerd, and hanging out with his pets (and taking care of other people’s pets)! Dominic is beyond grateful for his family, friends, fellow cast mates, and the wonderful creative team behind Engaged to Death and all they have done to support him!
Actor based in Raleigh NC, I've been an actor for about six years now, and I entered into it professionally about six months ago. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and taking long walks on the beach. Equally comfortable on the dance floor and on a basketball court, I pride myself on being a jack of all trades.
Roni Nicole (JASMINE) is a professional wrestler, author, activist, model, actress, dancer and choreographer. Her passion for the arts began at a very early age and has since blossomed into a successful and fulfilling international entertainment career. Born in Houston, Texas, Roni refers to herself as ‘Houston born but Carolina bred’ and her love for the South is only matched by her endeavors to improve its conditions through her arts, poetry, prose, and activism. Her role as 'Carla' in 2022 In The Heights at Raleigh Little Theater under the direction of Patrick Torres is one of her favorite roles to date.
Roni is a 2023 East Carolina University graduate where she received her second undergraduate degree in University Studies with a thematic core of Consumer Behavior and Event Services.
Emily Levinstone: (MABEL)Emily Levinstone (she/her) is a Durham-based actor and musician. A classically trained opera singer, she graduated from Duke in 2017, where she discovered her love for character acting, improv, and incorporating ukulele into theatrical productions. Favorite credits include: Parallel Lives (National Women’s Theatre Festival); Mr. Burns (Manbites Dog); Dangerous (Artist Soapbox); Ocean Filibuster (PearlDamour). Love and gratitude to J, J, & Blossom.
Renee Wimberley is a Triangle based actor, director, caregiver-artist, advocate, and educator specializing in arts integration. She has over 30 years of experience teaching theatre arts programs in Wake County Schools, homeschool coops, various outreach and summer programs such as Raleigh Little Theatre and Applause Youth Theatre. She has worked with students at Meredith College, NC State, and William Peace University and on tour with The Missoula Children’s Theatre. She received her BA in Theatre Arts Education from UNC-Greensboro. In 2020, she was nominated for Broadway World Regional’s Theatre Arts Educator of the Decade. Favorite local roles include Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (The Justice Theater Project), Joyce in The Sum of Us (Honest Pint Theatre), Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (RLT), and most recently The Duchess of York in Richard III (Sweet Tea Shakespeare). As founder and Executive Director of Seed Art Share, she is passionate about supporting caregivers in the arts and exploring community spaces through site-specific productions. Her favorite humans are her husband Joe and kiddos Max, Cana, and Stella.
