“Under the Sea” Spring Break Camp for traditional calendar and track 4 students ages 5-10. Drop-off begins at 8:30am and class runs from 9-3:45pm.Students will learn music and choreography for musical theater songs about the ocean and marine life. They will participate in guided research of these meteorological events using books and technology. Then, they will write a story with a logical beginning, middle, and end that connects these songs. They will showcase their musical performance on the final day of camp at 3:00. The camp will be tied to the GPAC’s May 9 presentation of TheaterWorks USA’s “Pout Pout Fish the Music

Campers will learn the fundamentals of immersive theatre. Teaching artists will lead them in devising a short play that takes place in multiple locations. Over the course of the week we will stage and then perform the site-specific play in locations throughout the GPA. Audience members will divide and view the individual scenes rotating between spaces. For traditional calendar students ages 10-14. Drop-off begins at 8:30am and camp runs from 9-3:45pm each day.
