OUR MISSION: Creating community through interactive theatre, arts education, and parent-artist support programs.
ARTS EDUCATION: WE offer theatre technique classes and workshops that integrate drama skill with academic curricula.
PARENT-ARTIST SUPPORT: We have made it our mission to support care-givers and families attending and working in our local theatre community.
INTERACTIVE THEATRE: We produce many interactive shows throughout the year at various locations throughout the Triangle area.
Parents and caregivers can enjoy an afternoon out around Raleigh on Saturday, December 21st while your kids (ages 4-11) enjoy theatre games and crafts with Seed Art Share’s teaching artists!
The event will last 4 hours from 10am-2pm and costs $70 for the first child, and $45 for each additional child in the family. Drop-ins are permitted (see our schedule to ensure your kids get to do the part of the event they want!) at $25/hr per child for the first child and $20/hr per child for each additional child in the family.
The event will be held at the City of Raleigh Museum, located at 220 Fayetteville St. in Downtown Raleigh. Your child will enjoy a scavenger hunt in the historic City of Raleigh Museum while learning about local history; play theatre games with interactive holiday stories; make crafts; and create a holiday e-card that can be sent to grandparents, family, and friends (while learning about the magic of film, SFX, and green screen technology)!
By participating in Parent’s Day Out with Seed you are helping Seed continue to produce impactful theatre and provide caregivers with theatre access. Thank you! Please direct any questions to Rachel Nunn at rachel@seedartshare.org.

As a diverse group of artists, we recognize that stories have the power to educate and help our community heal. We also acknowledge the ugliness, inequity, and privilege some of those stories hold. Black lives - and their stories - matter. Our work is far from done, but we recommit to tell the stories of those who too often are unheard. We commit to produce theatre and programs that bring joy, hope, and grace to our community. We commit to being a safe space to be sad, angry, and confused. Thank you for allowing us to continue learning from, listening to, and sharing with one another.
