Jump back into the 1920’s for an interactive murder mystery where jealousy, secrets, and betrayal weave a web of mystery around a groom with more enemies than friends. Unravel the threads of deception at this immersive engagement party, where everyone’s a suspect and the truth is your greatest challenge. Once the deed is done, it is up to YOU, the audience, to vote on which character gets sent to the big house!
Engaged to Death features a hilarious cast of Triangle actors, musicians, singers, and improvisers in this whodunnit by local playwright Doug Simpson and directed by Mikki Marvel. Co-produced and staged in downtown Garner’s Zin Yoga Studio and Wine lounge, the event includes light refreshments and a glass of wine. The bar will be open all night for additional purchases and patrons are invited to dress in 1920’s attire. The jazz will also be flowing, so come with your dancin’ shoes on!

Throughout the 90-minute show, patrons will follow the action throughout Zin as this zany original story unfolds. The party includes live music, light hors d'oeuvres. and one glass of house wine. The audience may (but are not required to) interact with the characters as they mill throughout the venue. *Guests have the option during check in to self identify that they wish to not be spoken to by performers.
